Joining PWCB

We are always looking for adult musicians! 

Whether you’re an experienced player or returning to your instrument after a break, we’d love to welcome you. The Prince William Community Band offers a friendly, supportive environment where musicians come together for the joy of making great music.

Eligibility Requirements

Adults (18+) who play a concert band instrument are welcome.

Members provide their own instrument (percussion instruments are provided by the band).

High school students may be considered with the approval of their band director and the PWCB conductor. Please contact us for more information.

Rehearsals & Membership

We rehearse on Monday evenings and present approximately six concerts each year throughout Prince William County.

Annual membership dues are $40 ($20 for members joining after June). An optional PWCB polo shirt is available for $22–$24, depending on size.

Concerts
The PWCB performs free concerts at various locations in Prince William County, Virginia. We frequently play at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, and various high schools around the county. Please check this web site often for all of our concert announcements.

Rehearsals
The PWCB normally rehearses at 7: 30 PM on Monday nights at Gar-Field High School on Smoketown Rd (enter at door 17)
