Allan is owner and founder of AA Consulting Services, PLLC, an environmental engineering consulting firm. Allan plays trumpet with the Prince William Community Band, leads his church wind ensemble, and plays trumpet with the Kena Temple Shriner Band, raising money for Shriner Hospitals. Allan began his amateur music career playing with his family in local churches in the Chicago area. He played trumpet and baritone in middle school and high school bands. A graduate of the University of Wyoming, his initial military service was with the U.S. Marine Corps, later Commissioned as a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Officer in 1978. After completing his engineering career with the Department of Defense, Allan started his business, but now focuses more of his attention to teaching math and science classes as a substitute teacher (and an occasional band class!) at Prince William County Schools, church activities, and playing trumpet for the joy of music.
