
The University of Wyoming (B.S., undergraduate) and The George Washington University (graduate degree, Masters of Engineering Management). Initial military service with U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, later Commissioned as a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Officer in 1978. Fourteen years active duty military as a Combat Engineer Officer with various assignments worldwide. Followed by a career as a licensed professional engineer (Virginia) with various Department of Defense Contractor assignments and Department of the Army Civil Service position with the U.S. Army intelligence and Security Command. Now retired from the Department of the Army, owner and founder of AA Consulting Services, PLLC, an environmental engineering consulting firm. Amateur church musician and community band member over the years. Currently lead the Brass Ensemble at Grace United Methodist Church, Manassas, Virginia. Also play trumpet and trombone with the Kena Shriner Band (Manassas, VA) and the Prince William Community Band, Virginia.
